Privacy policy

Exams Duniya (sole proprietorship, owned by [PROPRIETOR NAME]) decides how your data is used on examduniya.vercel.app and is responsible for it. Our address and contact details are at the bottom of this page.

• Account details — your email address, the display name you choose, and your password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash by our authentication provider; nobody at Exams Duniya can read them.
• What you do on a test — the answers you select, which questions you mark for review, how long you take, your score, your rank and the attempt history we build from that.
• Purchase records — which test you bought, the amount, any coupon used, the payment method name (for example “UPI”), and the reference numbers our payment gateway gives us. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email, so we can answer it.
• Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, and server logs. These are used to keep the site working and to spot abuse.

• To give you an account and let you sign in.
• To deliver the tests you buy, mark them, and show your solutions, history and progress charts.
• To publish leaderboards — your display name and score appear on the leaderboard of a ranked test you attempt. Your email address is never shown.
• To take payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds.
• To send you the emails the service needs: sign-in and password links, purchase confirmations, and important notices about your account. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
• To keep the site secure — detecting shared accounts, scraping and fraud.
• To meet legal obligations, mainly tax and accounting records.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels on this site. Blocking these cookies will stop you from signing in.

We use a small number of service providers. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job, and none of them is allowed to use your data for their own purposes.

• Supabase — our database, sign-in system and file storage. Holds your account, attempts and orders.
• Razorpay — takes payments. Receives your name, email and the amount; collects your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudinary — stores and serves the images used inside questions and solutions.
• Zoho — carries our email. Receives your email address and the contents of the message being sent to you.
• Vercel — hosts the website and keeps short-lived request logs.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. We only use providers that commit to protecting the data to the standard described here.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

• Account details, attempts and scores: while your account exists, and deleted with it.
• Purchase and refund records: at least 8 years after the transaction, because Indian tax and accounting law requires it. These survive account deletion, but we strip them of everything except what the law needs.
• Server and security logs: up to 12 months.
• Support email: up to 24 months.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong — you can change your display name and email yourself in your account;
• delete your account and the data attached to it, subject to the financial records described above;
• stop sending you a particular kind of email.

Email support@examsduniya.in from your account address and we will act within 48 hours, and in any case within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes your attempts, scores and leaderboard entries. That cannot be undone, and tests you bought are not transferable.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer, [PROPRIETOR NAME], at support@examsduniya.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

The site is meant for people preparing for competitive examinations and is not intended for children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes we hold data about a child under 13, write to us and we will delete it.

Traffic to the site is encrypted. Access to the database is restricted by row-level rules so that one account cannot read another’s data, and administrative access is limited to the people who need it and is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell you by email if a change materially affects you. Our terms of service explain the rest of the agreement between us.
